About Us


Dr. Alok Sehgal is a quintessential cardiologist in the country. His skill set is put to use every time he treats his patients. He deals with cardiac interventions, clinical cardiology, and pediatric cardiology. Presently he is the Head and Chief Consultant, of interventional and clinical cardiology at Yashoda Super specialty Hospital, Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad.

Dr. Alok Sehgal has been actively treating cardiac patients since the year 2004, giving him the benefit of 18 years of experience in the field of cardiology. Post completing MBBS, Dr. Alok completed an MD in medicine and DM in Cardiology. And post that he has been associated with prestigious medical centers in the country.

He is a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC). He has been affiliated with many awards and honors, namely, the Dr. George Cherian medal (best outgoing student), University Gold medal, MGR university, and Best-case award in NIC.

Dr. Alok has performed many interventional cardiology procedures proficiently in both its diagnosis and treatment procedures. He has performed a cardiac catheterization and angiography studies in both adults and children. He has a good amount of experience working with congenital, rheumatic, coronary, and peripheral arterial diseases.

He has performed coronary interventions such as Primary PTCA, balloon angioplasty, intracoronary stenting, chronic total occlusion recanalization, and angioplasty with Intra-aortic balloon pump support with a huge success rate. He is highly skilled in performing device closure of arterial septal defects and patent ductus arteriosis in pediatric patients.

Dr. Alok Sehgal plays an active role in cardiac research and has many published works in both national and international journals. He believes in the advancement of cardiac sciences and has put his research findings to good use both clinically and in his teaching career.
